"Regarded as one of the greatest scrum halves in rugby, Gregan made more appearances for his national team, the Wallabies, than any other player in the sport’s history. Gregan has also represented Australia in an extraordinary 139 tests, which included winning the Rugby World Cup in 1999."

George Gregan

A titan of the game, George Gregan is Australia’s most capped player of all time. One of the few international players whose career spanned both the amateur and professional eras of the game, Gregan reached the zenith of the sport after winning the Rugby World Cup with the Wallabies in 1999.
Gregan also captained Australia to a Bledisloe Cup win in 2002 and the Rugby World Cup Final in 2003, which the Wallabies lost to England after extra-time.
Among Gregan’s many accolades is the record for the most test appearances by a halfback partnership, thanks to Gregan’s 79 caps alongside Wallabies teammate and fellow Centurion, Stephen Larkham.
