"A LOT OF PEOPLE SAY IT IS CLICHE, THAT I DON'T MIND WHERE I PLAY. BUT IT'S TRUE. I DO ENJOY PLAYING INSIDE CENTRE AND I LIKE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF FLYHALF."

Matthew Giteau

Matthew Giteau won 103 caps for the Wallabies during a 14 year-long international career.
Giteau represented the Wallabies at three separate world cups and was a key player during the 2015 Rugby World Cup, a campaign in which Australia reached the final before losing to the All Blacks.
After a seven year absence from the national team, Giteau was reselected in 2015. This followed Wallabies’ Head Coach Michael Cheika’s negotiations with Australian Rugby Union to allow players with 60 caps or more to be eligible to represent the national side, regardless of where they played club rugby; it has become informally known as Giteau’s Law.
