Setting a series of records during his career as a fly half and a centre, Florin Vlaicu is Romania’s most capped player at international level with 117 caps and counting.
Since his international debut in 2006, Vlaicu has played in three Rugby World Cups and scored a total of 922 points for his national team so far. Not only is he Romania’s top point scorer in international rugby, but he is also their most prolific points scorer at Rugby World Cups with 28 points in his three tournament appearances.
A pinnacle moment of Vlaicu’s career was during the 2007 World Cup, where he scored a penalty against the All Blacks, before reaching his 100th cap milestone 10 years later.
